About your role

We are looking for a collaborative, knowledgeable, passionate and driven Technical expert to join our Madrid-based European Operations Center (EOC). This is a brand new role where you will play a crucial role in driving our company's processes by leading a team of project managers and customer support. You will establish best practices and streamline processes to support the Operations team.

In 2023, Otovo centralized its Operations team in Madrid and has built a dynamic, ambitious, international/bilingual team all passionate about the green transition and putting solar panels on every roof in Europe and a battery in every home. 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Project planning and execution activities: Enjoy the fast-paced project manager position leading solar panel installations in customers' homes.

  • Collaborate with project teams to define project scope and goals

  • Responsible for meeting weekly and monthly targets for throughput, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through your deliveries

  • Assess project risks and develop contingency plans

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

  • Communicate portfolio progress and status updates to management

  • Perform quality control checks of solar installations and subcontractor deliveries.

  • Emphasize quality, systematic work, and well-documented work processes.

  • Develop and implement training programs for new employees to ensure consistent, high-quality work.

What is expected from you:

  • English and German (C1- Native) language skills required

  • 1-2 years of work experience

  • Knowledge of solar energy is a plus but not a requirement. However, you will get good training.

  • Exhibit strong personal drive, integrity, and attention to detail.

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or a related field such as renewable energy industry.

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, executing, and closing projects within budget and timeline constraints. Intuitive understanding of prioritization.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to listen, understand, and clearly communicate to ensure everyone is on the same page.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
