Job description

We’re looking for a tech-savvy problem solver who loves teaching others and making things run smoothly! At Otovo, we don't produce energy hardware products ourselves. Instead, we search the market to find the very best products to offer our customers. As a Hardware Product Specialist, it will be your job to bring our hardware strategy to life. That means making sure:

  • We offer the best residential energy products in all our markets

  • Our teams are well-trained to market, sell and support these products

  • We handle technical challenges and supply chain issues effectively

This role is part of Otovo’s product team and reports to our Product Manager for Hardware, based in Warsaw. If you love all things solar and believe most complex things can be explained in a simple ways, keep reading.

What you'll be doing:

  • Training Otovo’s sales and operations teams across Europe on the technical and commercial aspects of the residential energy products we offer (trainings are in English).

  • Developing and maintaining training schedules and materials.

  • Staying up to date with industry trends, product releases, and relevant regulations.

  • Helping local teams launch new products on Otovo’s platform

  • Supporting hardware selection by evaluating technical, commercial, and compliance aspects.

  • Managing product data and documentation, ensuring it’s always up to date.

  • Building strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to collaborate on marketing, support, and product availability.

  • Assisting the operations team with warranty claims and technical issues.

Job requirements

  • Fluent in English (written & spoken). Other languages are a plus (Polish, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Swedish, or Norwegian).

  • Strong technical knowledge of residential energy products.

  • Experience from the PV industry.

  • Comfortable using digital tools for training, presentations, and knowledge-sharing.

  • Good with people—you enjoy working with different teams and making complex topics easy to understand.

  • Willing to travel in Europe for trainings, events, and meetings.
