Position overview
As our new Financial Planning & Analysis Manager you will help the senior management of Otovo stay informed about how each of the 13 markets are performing, and help them make data-driven decisions.

You will report to the VP Corporate Finance, and work closely with other parts of the finance team in Oslo. We are also hiring a more junior resource in the same team, who will be working closely with you.


Otovo is a fast-moving company, and when big decisions need to be made, you will be a central part of the team that performs the analyses that support these decisions.


Your responsibilities

  • Analysis: Develop comprehensive models to monitor the performance of Otovo’s business units, providing key financial insights and analyses that allows management to steer resource allocation across 13 markets

  • Advice: Being a trusted advisor to senior management, and sparring partner for General Managers across the organization

  • Strategy: Working on any M&A, debt funding or equity capital raises that Otovo conducts

  • Innovation: Developing and improving Otovo’s use of data - pushing your colleagues to work in smarter ways

  • Forecasting: Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes, and informing management’s expectations of future performance

Job requirements

Profile of ideal candidate

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in the financial industry, consulting, data science, or a related field

  • Attributes: Conscientiousness, and taking pride in completing high-quality work. Business acumen and commercial mindset

  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial/market modeling, excellent written and verbal communication skills and English fluency in both. Building robust and flexible tools that can withstand use over time by multiple team members

  • Versatility: Willingness to try new approaches to solving problems, including the use of cutting edge technologies
